Coventry, Plantation Homes Get Buyers Moving

Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes are helping Houston-area buyers get moving with the return of an incentive designed to save on out-of-pocket expenses.

During the Get Moving Sales Event, March 6 to March 31, Houston-area buyers will pay no closing costs when they purchase a new Coventry or Plantation home.

“We don’t want buyers to miss out on a home they love because of closing cost concerns,” said Paul Blackburn, region president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., (MHI), parent company of Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes. “So, we are picking up the tab, which can save buyers an average of 2-5 percent off the total cost of buying their new home.”

Closing costs refer to a variety of expenses above the purchase price such as fees for an attorney, a title search, title insurance, taxes, lender costs and some upfront housing expenses such as homeowner’s insurance.

Plantation and Coventry homes can save buyers money in other ways, as they are built to stringent Environments for Living guidelines ensuring a healthier “greener” home that saves buyers money on heating and cooling costs.

Coventry Homes is active in 25 communities in and around Houston with homes priced from the $220,000s to more than $1 million. Plantation Homes builds in 16 Houston-area communities with homes priced from the $190,000s to the $360,000s.
